About Nathalie
I am a psychologist (MSc, PhD) and work with people who keep ending up in the same patterns — in the way they relate to themselves, their emotions, or their relationships. Sometimes there is a sense that something feels off, without having the words for it. Sometimes there is already a lot of insight, yet real change still seems out of reach. In my work, I often see that understanding alone is not enough. Change usually begins when you not only understand what is happening, but also learn to recognize and feel it within yourself.
I work in a calm and engaged way, with attention to what is happening in the present moment. Without judgment, and without forcing anything. My approach is integrative; I combine elements of acceptance and commitment therapy, body-oriented approaches, parts work (IFS-informed), and cognitive behavioral therapy. This way of working has been shaped by both my professional and personal path. Through my own experiences, I came to see that talking and understanding were helpful, but did not reach everything. What made the biggest difference in my personal development was gradually practicing new ways of feeling, responding, and relating in moments that previously brought tension, and learning to experience safety within those moments again. From there, my interest in the connection between body, mind, and lived experience continued to grow. I deepened this through body-oriented work and trainings, a hatha yoga teacher training, (Vipassana) meditation, and personal exploration, as well as through my academic background and scientific research.
