Work in Motion
Not Your Usual Retreat
Not Your Usual Retreat
Ten days of camping, hiking and yoga in the remote mountains of Crete, intertwined with a self-development program aimed at challenging your patterns and changing perspective.

Get Moving
This program is for you if you are ready for a wake-up call, to get out of your head and grow as a person. It is built around the concept of embodied activation. Through a daily Vinyasa yoga practice and several long-distance day hikes, you push your physical boundaries. Through body oriented exercises, you find out how early learning experiences are stored in your system. Through individual sessions, reflection and meditation, you become more aware of how these patterns impact your life.
Interplay
Music is at its best when the interplay between melody, rhythm, and harmony is just right. The group process creates the music to this program. Interaction and cocreation are the basis from which you gain new insights, and it is in relationship to others that you experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling and doing.

Make it Stick
Changing patterns does not happen overnight. To ensure a lasting effect, this program actively integrates the learning experience with the rest of your life. During an intake we explore if the program is a good match with your most pressing self-development questions. You then receive an assignment that prepares you for the journey to come. During the program we pay a lot of attention to applying what you have learned, and afterwards there is the option to follow up the program by either individual guidance or monthly group meetings.
Meet Femke
As long as I remember I’m fascinated by people and their motives. I’m happy when I can contribute to the development of others while developing myself. That’s what I do in my work as a lecturer at the University of Humanistic Studies and as a coach. Openness and playfulness are important to me. I often hear that I create a space that makes people feel calm and seen. In my coaching I try to make you aware of your bodily sensations and of what is meaningless or meaningful to you. In that way I hope new perspectives arise and you feel (re)connected to your inner and the outer world. I experience that connection in true contact with others and during my long-distance hikes high-up in the mountains.

Meet Roos
What I aim to achieve with Work in Motion, is that every participant takes the next step in their journey towards individuation, which Jung describes so beautifully as “the slow process of tuning in to your authentic self, which takes a lifetime”. I am convinced that our embodied approach has the power to reveal patterns and blockages crystal clear, creating the ideal starting point to get moving in the direction of desired change, while the mountains, with their mighty and humbling presence, provide the perfect backdrop for his.
Meet Ramon
My yoga journey started in 2013. A few years later, I decided to travel to India to deepen my knowledge and practice of yoga and meditation, living in ashrams and completing my 500hrs yoga teacher training. My practice started with traditional hatha, which slowly transformed into stronger vinyasa classes that also opened the door to advanced arm balancing. For me, yoga is a practice with endless space for growth, but especially a tool to turn inward to reset the mind and body.
Currently, I have been teaching for 10 years in classes varying from Traditional Hatha, Pranayama and Yin, to Vinyasa, arm balancing, and workshops in modern breath-work. My goal is to let you leave the mat feeling stronger, happy, and free from stress or tensions.

Who is this for?
Work in Motion is for you if you:
-
are willing to actively engage — physically, emotionally, and mentally
-
are curious about exploring personal patterns through the body, not just through thinking
-
feel comfortable learning in a group setting and in relation to others
-
enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind simple living conditions
-
are looking for depth and challenge, rather than quick fixes
No prior experience with yoga or self-development is required — a willingness to participate fully is.
Who is this not for?
Work in Motion is not a therapy program and does not replace psychological or medical treatment.
This program is not suitable if you:
• are currently experiencing an acute psychological crisis
• require intensive individual support
• are looking for a guaranteed outcome or clear-cut answers
• prefer observing over active participation
• are unable to take part in physically demanding activities such as long hikes
If you are unsure whether this program is a good fit, we explore this together during the intake.
